- No Returns on sheet metal that has been damaged after leaving premises.
- 90 day limited mechanical parts warranty.
- All body cuts are sold AS IS. Interior Auto Salvage cannot refund any body cut.
General Return Policies
- No returns without original invoice.
- Aside from warranty coverage, we issue no returns after 30 days of invoice.
- Interior Auto Salvage requires a 25% restock fee on all returned items at the manager's discretion.
- No exchanges or refunds for items that have been damaged, misused or modified.
- We reserve the right to inspect ALL warranty items.
- Returned parts that are disassembled will not be accepted.
- All body cuts are sold AS IS.
- We reserve the right to replace, repair or refund any warranty item.
- Due to yard policies and federal laws, we cannot sell the following items:
- Rubber brake lines
- Tie Rod or Tie Rod Ends
- Ball Joints
- Brake Pads
- A.B.S. Sensors
- Air Bag Sensors
- Windshields
- Deployed Air Bags
- Batteries
- Battery Cables
- High Pressure Rubber Lines
- Suspension Bushings
- Catalytic Converters
Warranty Information
- ALL WARRANTIES ARE NULL AND VOID IF:
- The vehicle is used for fleet, taxi, government, racing, competition or off road purposes.
- The part is installed in an application for which the vehicle manufacturer did not intend.
- The part is installed in a "misapplication" for vehicle make, model and year.
- Failure is caused by abuse, misues or modifications.
- Failure is caused by towing a trailer or other vehicle unless your vehicle is equipped for this purpose by the manufacturer.
- The part fails or becomes defective due to vehicle involvement in a collision.
- The vehicle is not serviced at proper intervals, or fluids are not replaced at proper intervals.
- The engine oil filter or transmission filter is not replaced with new parts before installation.
- The fluids are not replaced with OEM recommended fluids at OEM recommended levels.
- The part is dismantled BEFORE our inspection.
- Warranty is void if cylinder head(s) or rotating assembly is removed from engine assembly.
- Warranty is void if valve body or pump is removed from transmission assembly.
- Warranty is void if heat tab centers are melted.
Engine
- Warranty is void if cylinder head(s) or rotating assembly is removed. This includes removal of main caps or rod ends.
- Engine accessories SUCH AS the ones listed below ARE NOT covered under any warranty:
- Oil Pans
- Carburetors
- Distributors
- Fuel Pumps
- Thermostats
- Water Pumps
- Exhaust Manifolds
- Intake Manifolds
- Fuel Injectors
- Fuel Rails
- Pressure Regulators
- Spark Plugs
- Spark Plug Wires
- EGR Valves
- Any Type of Solenoid
- Block Heaters
- Claims related to the overheating and/or improper lubrication of the engine or its components are not covered under this warranty.
- Warranty void if heat tab centers are melted.
Carriers/Transfer Cases/Axle Assemblies
- Transfer cases, front and rear carriers, or axle assemblies must be filled with correct OEM recommended fluids and levels.
- Warranty is void on items if they are disassembled before our inspection.
- Transfer case shift motors are not covered under warranty.
- Front Carrier actuators are not covered under warranty.
Carrier mounted ABS sensors are not covered under warranty.
- Brake pads, shoes, rotors, drums, cylinders, backing plates, or other brake components mounted to an axle assembly are not covered under any warranty and are recommended to be replaced.
Part Cost Warranty
- Part cost warranty will cover up to $100.
- Warranty will cover all of the following items:
- Engines
- Transmissions
- Transfer Cases
- Front and Rear Axle Assemblies
- Front and Rear Carrier Assemblies
- Parts cost warranty applies to all said items at no additional cost.
- Parts that will be covered include gaskets, seals, fluids and filters.
- Interior Auto Salvage cannot cover any gaskets seals, fluids or filters that ARE NOT OEM recommended or better part/fluid.
- Interior Auto Salvage cannot cover any gaskets seals, fluids or filters if they are the cause of the items' failure.
- We will not cover any parts if the customer asks for a non-interchangeable part for said vehicle.
- Customer must possess original receipts that state parts are for the make, model and year of the vehicle being serviced. Receipts must come from an established parts store and no hand written receipts will be accepted.
- Receipts must state the date of purchase for parts. Dates must be within seven days after an Interior Auto Salvage item was purchased.
- Any part cost refund will only be issued to the customer who originally purchased the item.
- As with our standard warranty policies, Interior Auto Salvage reserves the right to inspect all warranty items before taking any action.
Terms and Conditions
- Warranty begins on the date of the invoice unless otherwise noted.
- Warranty does not cover labor.
- We reserve the right to inspect any product prior to replacement.
- The original invoice must accompany all returns.
- Warranty is not transferable.
- Glass is not covered by any warranty.
- The installer must follow any "recommended installation procedures" provided by Interior Auto Salvage to maintain warranty coverage.
- The year and model of the vehicle or part printed on this invoice is within a range of interchangeability and may not necessarily be the exact model and year as the part or vehicle that has been provided.
- Interior Auto Salvage reserves the right to replace, repair or refund any warranty items.
Transmission
- It is the responsibility of the installer to perform the following tasks:
- Flush or Replace the Radiator or Transmission Oil Cooler
- Flush the Transmission Oil Cooling Lines
- Fill Differential
- Adjust Shifter Mechanisms
- Replace Filter
- Replace Seals
- Replace Pan Gaskets
- Reset or Replace Computer Codes During Transmission Installation
- Transmission oil pans are not covered under any warranty.
- Warranty void if valve body or pump is removed.
- OEM recommended fluid must be used.
Miscellaneous Suspension Parts
- Suspension components and tie rod ends, ball joints, wheel bearings and bushings related to steering are not covered by our warranty and should be inspected and replaces as needed by the installer.
- Transfer cases, front and rear carriers or axle assemblies must be filled with the correct OEM recommeded fluids and levels. Warranty is void on these items if part is dismantled.
Tires
Due to the many and different conditions to which tires may have previously been exposed, Interior Auto Salvage makes absolutely NO warranty, expressed or implied, as to the fitness for a general or particular purpose or the merchantibility connection with any sale of used tires. ALL USED TIRES ARE SOLD AS IS. Used tires are not tested or labeled by Interior Auto Salvage to meet any safety standards. The purchaser of used tires agrees to accept all risks relating to the use of such tires.
Important Notices
FOR ANY RECYCLED SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINTS SYSTEM ("SRS") SUCH AS A RECYCLED AIRBAG OR SEAT BELT TENSIONER TO OPERATE PROPERLY, A QUALIFIED INSTALLER MUST INSTALL THE SRS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE VEHICLE MANUFACTURER'S SPECIFICATIONS. Any SRS that is not installed correctly will subject passengers in vehicle to risks of serious injuries, including death. The purchaser of a SRS assumes all risks of damage or injuries, including death, which may arise as a result of improper installation of a SRS. Interior Auto Salvage does NOT test a SRS to meet any safety standards. The purchaser of a SRS agrees to accept all risks, liabilities, damages or injuries, including death, relating to the use of the SRS.
